An Unusual Trip to Capital- The CWG Hosts

To overcome the need of getting some change, I recently had visited to my sister’s place in Delhi for a few days. And, here I am, writing this post just to share some glimpse of this memorable trip. I am very much in fascination with Delhi as a place to visit. Not only because I have free place to live and fuel sponsored car to roam over there, but also because every piece of information talks about India as a nation. One can get more of a feeling of India Viz-a-Viz U.S./Britain from Delhi, as compared to Indore Viz-a-Viz Delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore/Hyd from Indore. However, Indore meri jaan has its own advantages of calm & peaceful life, which one can never get in Del/Mum/Bang/Hyd.

After experiencing this trip, I strongly believe that having the delightful experience of travelling & visiting some new place at least twice a year is very important. As the aquarium needs a change of water after every particular period of time, our mindset also needs to resettle and reshuffle after every particular period of time. And, adventurous trip is the wonderful solution for the same.

“Ayodhyaa Vs. Common Wealth”
... This is the match which was talked about all over the nation at same span of time, and to have a close nit with the result of this match, one can’t be at a better place than our Capital, the host of CWG, Delhi.

However, CWG was the clear winner, cause Ayodhyaa verdict was being dismissed by the Indians completely. Every mind was set on statement- “We have grown after 1992, the verdict is over, can we now move on, please?” Talking about the winner- CWG~Delhi- I feel so proud for being an Indian whenever any good news related to Common Wealth is known. While the visit, three most interesting things to be noted where- Security, Infrastructure & Positivity.
- We had visited some of the games venues from outside just a day before the launch. The kind of security which is been set all over Delhi, with lakhs of police men and 3000+ security camera’s deserves a huge round of applauds.
- Infrastructure has taken a huge leap, it was quite unique and best of its kind. We expected little disgraces, they happened too (Bridge debacle), but our honourable Army landed up on commitment and expectations, building the complete bridge in a short span of just 3 days.
- Positivity, was clearly visible in environment all over. You will get people talking on CWG, Radio Jockey hanging on a single cassette, local news channel showing the glimpse of venues etc...And very fortunately, the public has changed the negative mood which our shameful media has gifted in return of TRP madness, to an extreme positivity.

Mr. Kalmadi & Co. was being cursed a few weeks back, but the results which are coming up are super attractive. The kind of opening ceremony which was held was more than we expected & I am sure complete series of games would go on similarly with success. I am not saying, they were not corrupt and no action should be taken, I am just saying that- “We Should Not Underestimate the Power of Corrupt”, and post games would be the right time to analyze and give the judgment rather than ON-RADAR-OF-WORLD time. We as Indians curse and throw stones whenever anything wrong happens, but we fall little short in appreciating whenever something positive happens. I believe ‘The Art of Appreciation’ needs extreme enhancement.

All in all, having such a close view of event which is making us optimistically stall in front of whole world was vibrantly wonderful. This was the time to depart and to catch the train after such a fantastic dream like trip.

Entrepreneurship- The Clash of Pride and Nervousness

One of my friends in a recent conversation associated the term ‘entrepreneur’ with me. A sense of pride suddenly ran all over my nerves making me feel of being on seventh sky. Before I could handle myself I found blood of nervousness too getting mixed up. Strange, but true, felt sense of Pride and Nervousness at the same time.

First I asked Pride- What made you to come here? She very calmly replied- “I came because I was happy that you took the first step for your dream of being a successful entrepreneur. You always had listened and read about have been entrepreneurs, like Steve Jobs, Sandeep Manudhane etc.. You always wanted to be like one of them, and your first step of ladder seems to be perfect. At least you have begun.

The Launch of Aashiyana Hostels, crossing steps one by one- convincing family members, getting fund, choosing right business partner, finding employees, making a process, filling liveliness in a totally new place etc..All this surely makes me believe that I am a deserving guest in your celebrations.”

Before I could turnover to Nervousness, she herself began claiming Pride is not correct. She said- “I agree the starting has been done, but it’s not about creating an organization, common, any one (She meant ANYONE) can run a hostel, what’s new you are doing?? I would suggest you to order pride to wait outside until the whole concept of Chain of Hostels is evaluated. It needs no genius to make soap; it needs to sell soap. I believe you’ll soon get out of your dream world.”

Pride, with a much louder voice interrupted- “The Future belongs to those who believe in the Beauty of their Dreams.” Just because of upcoming challenges ahead, you can’t disallow me to be a part of this story. Obstacles and challenges are always going to exist, up till whatever extent you grow. It depends on individual to start believing on his idea/dream & feel pride for the same, some may do from very beginning; some may keep waiting for lifetime. I would remind you the saying- “If you believe that your path is right, then you'll be the one writing the end”. So, don’t wait for the right time, instead, make the time right. I would arrive looking on your power of dreams, not on your balance sheets and publicity, cause they’ll follow the former.”

All right, all right. ‘I stumbled upon.’ I guess that you both do have valuable stand. And you both are essential for every individual. You’ll be needed in every one’s life, ranging from- one who is just thinking to be an entrepreneur, to one who has become a successful entrepreneur.

Keep fighting, and keep arguing, after all -“If two people agree all the time, one of them is not thinking. ”
