Yeh Desh Hai Veer Jawanon Ka...

INDIA...One of the fastest running nation in the international race of world economies. A developing nation with already developed intellectual resources. Country, which attracts the people worldwide with its culture, innumerable festivals, great hospitality etc etc…We'll have to believe that the BEST is yet to come..{with a lot of hard work and efforts, of course}.

Their is a puzzle I used to wonder about since many years -The Tiger, which on one hand is envisaged as top 3rd economy in near future after U.S & China, & on the other hand has 25% of its population under poverty line. Despite of available resources, capital, manpower, what is that due to which our economy is still developing, not developed?? The puzzle remains unsolved even after 62+ years of independence..
The could be solution- The average age of India is 27 (U.S-44, China-39). We still invest the energy and efforts of young population in abusing the corrupt politicians & searching mistakes in their way of work. One point which we people forget is- What have WE done till now for our nation..? We yet do not deserve to abuse them...Therefore the eventual solution has to be to use the amazing young resources in the Very Right Way...
The need of the hour is a right direction for the energetic young generation of India. Instead of being jealous of neighbor’s success and making efforts to adverse it, we have to learn to concentrate more on our hard work, our mission & our success in GLOBAL terms. The term which can help our nation to achieve this is- Group effort. We all have to work TOGETHER in a right direction with lot of zeal and energy to rewrite the rules for our nation. We need to DREAM BIG FOR INDIA- ''Where poor will not just merely be reduced to statistics but where there will be no poor. Where we could have a day when small children are taken to a poverty museum (like science museum) where they shiver at the plight of the way people used to live in the last millennium. We need to dream and to dream and to dream…& let this dream has to take the form of a revolution. As long as our dreams will keep outweighing our memories, India would remain a young and dynamic nation on its path to global equality. And for this let the wait not be for eternity. We'll have to TOGETHER achieve this within a decade.''

However..even after knowing the need of the hour and the value of question that Something is to be done, the question remains same..How Can I Contribute?? We have lots of eligible youth in India who want to do something for nation, but are just required to show a green road map. Now, the beauty over here is that we all have our own way to add on and eventually attain a common objective- India's Success...

As per my take, I have aimed to add on my contribution simply by creating an organization, which produces such a product or service which directly or indirectly somehow will contribute in the welfare of 319 million people nation wide who go to bed hungry every night. My aim is to create an organization which though aims maximum profit, but not on the cost to be paid by 25 percent Indians living below poverty line.

Do we have 'n' number of such ways of adding our contribution in India's Growth Story??? Are we connecting to each other ???

  2. Hey Manish,
    Congratulations on your initiative.
I am very impressed by your approach of bringing change in the society by this digital platform.

If you really want this idea to be succeed then you have to do a lots of hard work. Talking about india issue is looks like a politician is talking on this issue at the time of elections. My suggestion to you is as a marketing professional you should do a full marketing of this initiative to make it a success. what can be the ways of doing it can be discuss in your next blog.

  3. Dear Manish,
Kudos to the Indian who has written this blog..Congrats, Manish..

Well, India is successful.. This is not a mere statement. India is successful becoz Indians like You have realized that time and tide wait form no man. The biggest way one can be succesful is when one realizes the need for the same.

Well, i beg to disagree about the museum of poverty...I think, this is just a fantasy..As the more you have, the more you want....Poverty will never eliminate(possibly poor of that time may own houses and cars on earth and the rich on moon).....Poverty will reamin but with a changed face!!!!!!

Overall an excellent initiative and blog...keep up d good work..

  4. Dear Manish,
It was enervating to see that your aims are not just restricted to yourself but for the nation as whole.
The problem of unemployment, illiteracy, corruption can be reduced to a certain extent but cannot be totally abolished and at a certain point they are even necessary, they do have benefits.
In my point of view the single point i would like to emphasize for the global development would be introducing reforms for women education and empowerment. The rate of literacy amongst the women is still very dismal and confined to the cities, and this needs to be changed in totality, we need to ripen the demographic dividend. Thus by liberalizing women we can achieve that.
The real development of the nation will take place when the day arrives where women have same position as male, nation is no more a male dominant society, when there will be no female foeticide, no glass barriers for women, and no gender biasness at all.

  5. Ritu - Thanks for reading and commenting.

Ravi - Marketing approach...I realize, and have taken essential step to do so. Will be out within a week in upcoming post. Thanks, it was quite essential add on.

Anishka - Its really impressive to have several views on several predictions. Afterall, this is best we could get on digital platform indiayouth919.
poor of that time may own houses and cars on earth, whereas rich on moon.' Quite imaginative. Thanks.

Neha - I believe that the problem of Glass Ceiling, gender biasness etc.. have been reduced drastically from our society compared to earlier times.
However, reducing them further up to zero level is quite essential too. Hopefully, it will be achieved soon, with India's Groth Story.
    Thanks for the comment.

  6. Hi Manish,

I always used to wonder the same. But the solution doesnt come easy. May be the best way could be in this age old statement - " Each One Teach One". Hence spreading literacy might do wonders.
